This article will give you a step-by-step guide on how you can set up your courses from other vendors in WAVE.
1. From your Dashboard, go to Created Course List.
2. Click on Create Course.
3. Be sure to choose "Interactive Training" as the course type. Then, fill out all the required fields. Pay special attention to those marked with an asterisk (*), such as SKU, Name, and Visibility, as these are mandatory for course creation.
4. After successfully creating the Interactive Training course, navigate to the sections by selecting the "Sections" tab.
5. Once you are in the sections tab, go ahead and create a section.
6. Fulfill all the fields again and make sure to select SCORM, Tin Can, and AICC as your course section type, and then click save & continue edit so that we will see the upload box.
7.Click on "Open Filemanager" to begin uploading your files. Once you've selected the files you wish to upload, click on "Start Upload." After the upload is complete, return to the files list, select your course, and proceed to upload the files into the course.
8. Once you click save, your course will be ready for launch!
You can go ahead and preview the course to ensure that all content is displayed correctly and that the interactive elements function as intended. This step allows you to experience the course from a learner's perspective, giving you the opportunity to identify any adjustments that may be necessary before it goes live. Additionally, you can enroll yourself and your learners in the course by navigating to the enrollment section. Simply select the desired participants from your user list and proceed with the enrollment process. This will grant them access to the course, allowing them to begin their enrollment. Once enrolled, you can monitor their progress and engagement through the course results, ensuring a successful training experience for all involved.
