SCORM: Error "A fatal error has occurred, communication with the server has been lost."

Prerequisites:

  • Learning Management Tool (LMS)
  • SCORM Dispatch file of a course

Do you encounter the error shown in the screenshot below? If you do, then we might have a solution for you.

 

 

This error occurs when your LMS is trying to decrypt Atlantic Training content. Doing so will throw an error since our content is protected from decryption.

 

 

To resolve this issue, please try the following steps:

  • Add `cloud.scorm.com` and `.cloud.scorm.com` to your no-decrypt content filtering allowlist.

  • Confirm that your web browser is updated to the latest version.

  • Re-upload the SCORM dispatch file into your LMS.
