This is the simplest section type as it only contains what you place within the ‘content’ box within this section. Please note that you can’t add pictures, videos, etc but you are able to include URL’s that the user can click on.

In the "Edit Sections" tab you will see a drop down menu labeled "Course Section Type".
Once you click on the drop down, the fifth option will be the "Text" section type.
Once the "Text" section type is selected a you will be able to add anything you would like to the "Content" box.
Once you've written what is needed, don't forget to click save!
